Yahoo India has cut 3% (around 50 employees) from Indian office as a part of 1500 global layoffs on Wednesday according to sources. Yahoo India has 1500 employees in its R&D center at Bangalore. There was no official confirmation from Yahoo. As per sources, Yahoo India has cited non performance being reason for job cuts. Yahoo India has been hiring till recently and also as per some sources, it was expected that Yahoo would be hiring in places like India and firing in US.
